CHILLING TO SHANG VIA MARKHA VALLEY TREK (5 DAYS)
We leave Leh to Chilling by jeep in the morning on the rugged barren field of Taru. En route we see the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River, where we cross the bridge on the Indus River and follow the Zanskar River on rough road for 2-3 hrs. Crossing the mighty Zanskar River is full of thrill and excitement in a cable trolley. On the other side of the river, we will meet our pony man with the horses. After crossing the small pass, it is an easy walk until Skiu.
MARKHA VALLEY TREK
The Markha trek is the most frequently visited trek in Ladakh for many reasons ? endangered and rare Himalayan wildlife, high passes and remote buddhist villages that are still linked to the outside world only by trails. You will get glimpses of traditional, Ladakhi villagelife and be met by hospitability and friendliness along the way, before entering into the rough wilderness that surrounds the two high passes on the trek.
TSOMORIRI LAKE TREK

This region, known as the land of the nomads, will take you by several encampments of the Changpa nomads and give you an unique opportunity to have a glimpse into their way of living and maybe a cup of buttertea in one of their tents made of black yak hair.
LAND OF THE NOMADS (10 DAYS)
A beautiful trek through the pristine wilderness of the plateau of Chang Tang, which stretches far into Tibet. This is a real high altitude trek that will take you across 2 major passes before entering Rupshu and the land of the Changpa nomads- a people of Tibetan origin who live in encampments of black yak hair tents, and earn a living by breeding yaks, sheep and pashmina goats, from whose soft wool comes the expensive pashmina wool. The highlights of the trek are the spectacular changing landscape and the nomads.
ZANSKAR TREK
The ancient Buddhist kingdom of Zanskar is hidden deep in the western reaches of the great Himalayas. For most of the year the high passes are inaccessible because of snow, making the deep gorge of the frozen Zanskar River the only way of transport by walking. Villages nestling high up on cliffs, the greenest fields where peas and buckwheat are grown and ancient monasteries, are just some of the attractions on this spectacular trek.
