Rafting in Rishikesh
It is possible here to organize a half day trip or a full day trip which involves a run of 26 Km and requires a minimum of only two people as there are groups covering this stretch almost every day. But if you are looking for some more quality time to spend on the river then we recommend you take the longer 36 Km stretch. However, this would require at least four people. <<More>>

trekking in India
Trekking in India is one of the finest in the world. Not only do we boast of the highest range of mountains offering even professional trekkers a challenge but some of the routes are easily accessible by even amateurs and first time trekkers. Most of these ‘easy’ treks are located in the northern state of Uttarakhand often starting from the town of Rishikesh, which other than being an idle base camp is also known for rafting on Ganga and its tributaries. Rishikesh is 256 kms by road from Delhi and can be approached by taxi/bus (8 hours) or train (4 and half hours). There is a flight from Delhi to Dehradun which takes only an hour. <<More>>

trekking in Ladakh
Ladakh, the roof of the world opened to tourists only in the last couple of decades. At an awesome altitude, this highland seems like the bridge between the earth and the sky! It is here, where the forces of nature conspired to render a magical unrealistic landscape, a landscape of extremes, desert and blue waters, burning sun and freezing winds, glaciers and sand dunes- Truly a paradox of nature like no other. Ladakh is a region in India totally isolated from the modern world. An authentic land, it is faithful to ancestral customs where life is characterized by intense spirituality. <<More>>

Our Testimonials
Just returned yesterday from the six day trek with our guide Rajeev Kumar, cook Rinji and driver Dinesh. It was one of our best treks ever - and we have done a lot of mountain trips in a lot of countries! We hit a window in the weather which helped of course; clear views of snow-capped peaks in cloudless blue skies and warm sunshine which made for a truly unforgettable experience. Not to take anything away from our Red Chilli team. It was their attention to detail that set them apart from many others we'd previously been with. They carefully matched our ambitions with our capabilities and stepped in when necessary to make up any shortfall (we rarely hike at such altitude and the effects certainly slowed us up). A big thank you to Rajeev who was excellent all round. He had all the expected qualities of a mountain guide but in addition was a good communicator, confident, assertive and aware of the little touches which just enhanced the whole experience for us. He is fluent in English, and if we just mentioned something in passing the next thing you know he'd make it happen. How he arranged that full moon to rise directly over Dunagiri we shall never know! Rinji really showed his experience when juggling all those pots and pans to turn out a boggling variety of dishes from just two burners - fresh ingredients yes but who'd have thought anyone could be bothered to make momos and pastries from scratch at 3000m! Thanks also to Dinesh for negotiating Indian traffic up those mountain roads. Our safety was never in question at any time throughout the entire trek. We both enjoyed every part of our trek and if the above sounds too good to be true, I have the photos to prove it!

Reached back in Germany safely and wanted to pen a few words of appreciation to your Company. We had a total of 6 weeks stay in India and wanted to thank Redchilli and Rajeev for the wonderful experiences we got to appreciate during this time. Me and my friend Annika had booked a oneway trip from Rishikesh with your organization. Everything was perfectly co-ordinated, starting with the competent and very friendly adviser who patiently answered all our questions to the safe car ride to the startingpoint of the trek and the beautiful trekkingpaths along which we were taken by our guide Rajeev. We had a sense of well being all through out,of being taken care of. Rajeev and the driver, who drove us safely up the serpentine roads, picked us punctually up. We were positively surprised by the warm and friendly welcome they extended us and we got into pleasent chatting all the way. The sunrise with the view of the himalayan hilltops was a bit marred through rain but it was still a fantastic view. Rajeev conversed with us easily about the native plants, animals and localities. He showed us the most beautiful places, waterfalls and the best photospots. He amused us with his wittiness throughout and we had a lot of fun. But moreover,we felt safe throughout. I am planning to do a further trip again in summer and would be pleased to take a longer trip through the Himalayas with the Red Chilli Team and specifically with the extremely helpful and well-natured Rajeev. Thank you again for the wonderfully unforgettable Trek and all the help extended.
