CHANDERSHILA TREK AND GANGA RIVER
For those of you who have little time but want to gain the maximum in a short period, we offer special combo trips which are a mix of both rafting and trekking giving you the best of all that the Himalayas have to offer. Chandershila top and Dev Prayag down on the river Ganga is a shortest combo trip we can offer. It can be completed in 6 days and is nice and easy giving you a fare share of both the experiences in a week’s time. This combination involves for the first three days of trekking in which we will cover Sari, Deorital, Chopta and Chandershilla and then get back to Chopta , wherein we will start our rafting expedition by undertaking the downstream from Chopta to Devprayag, where there is a beautiful confluence of the The Alaknanada and The Bhagirathi River. From Devprayag we raft further down to Kodiyala , resting finally at Rishikesh which will end this Trek cum raft trip.
KUARI PASS TREK AND GANGA RIVER
The Kuari pass trek is amongst the best in the Garhwal Mountains. The trail takes you through lush green fields, remote villages and virgin forests. The close range view of Mt. Nanda Devi along with numerous other peaks is the reward that awaits the trekker atop the Kuari pass! Add to this the fact that this combo trip also offers an river expedition down the River Ganga as well. It too offers you some days of trekking first which will take us to our starting point for the rafting, following which we will raft downstream to get to our base destination- Rishikesh to get back home. This however is a longer expedition then the one offered at Chandershilla and will involve some tirring days of treeking all the way from Rishikesh to Ghat to Chefna to Semkher Meadow, which conists of pasture lands for summer grazing and some shepherd huts. From here to Kalighat to Dhakauni. The trek becomes more interesting here as we then follow our way up to the spectacular Kuari Pass, from where we make our way to Aluli and then finally to Joshimath. Most treks would end here with a drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh, but you instead will have the luck to raft downstream from Joshimath to first Devprayag and the following day from Devprayag to Rishikesh. There is just so much a trekker and a rafter can ask from a trip…and you get it all in one!
PANGERCHULI CLIMB AND UPPER ALKHNANDA RAFTING EXPEDITION
Pangerchulli is a trekking peak on the top of The North face - Kuari Pass which is a short trek and starts from joshimath and complete in 6 days at Joshimath. The peak is of 5000m and offers great views of Nanda Devi (India's highest mountain) and many others. This is a very spectacular part of the Indian Himalayan and one that we never grow tired of looking at. After this tre, on the way back we get on the rafts for grade IV river expedition which finishes in Ruderprayag. This is a classic river run negotiating over 85 grade III and Iv rapids and covering the full distance between Chamoli to Ruderprayag rafting downstream at the Upper Alakhananda River in Uttarakhand. This self contained multiday river adventure especially crafted for those who are looking for an absolute adrenaline rush.
