|
| SEASON Nov till June. | GRADE Luxury | AREA Ramnagar (Uttarakhand) | | | | | | | DAY 01 | : | Arrive at Camp Forktail Creek by lunch, after which we take you on an escorted nature and bird walk into the Sal forests surrounding the camp. It is an excellent opportunity to walk in the cool of the forest, to be close to nature and to appreciate the varied plants, insects, birds, mammals and reptiles that inhabit this part of the country. THE QUIETER YOU ARE, THE MORE YOU WILL SEE. Our expert guides will help you identify hoof, pug and pad marks; teach you to identify peculiar forest smells and learn basic jungle surviving skills. The point of such walks is when we come across a tiger’s or a leopard’s pug mark and should we come across one of such on this walk, plaster casts could be made. Back to camp by sundown for campfire and dinner. As you gorge on the excellent cuisine the guides and other experts would keep you entertained with their wonderful experiences in the jungle. Relax by the fire long into the night, listening to exclusive jungle sounds to finally rest it out in either mud huts or safari tents, which are both executively luxurious as well as personal. | | DAY 02 | : | We leave early morning in an open 4WD jeep with the in-house driver and naturalist for a full day game drive to the Bijrani range to observe the wildlife of the area.
