  DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01
:

Arrive at Camp  Forktail Creek by lunch, after which we take you on an escorted nature and bird  walk into the Sal forests surrounding the camp. It is an excellent opportunity  to walk in the cool of the forest, to be close to nature and to appreciate the  varied plants, insects, birds, mammals and reptiles that inhabit this part of  the country. THE QUIETER YOU ARE, THE  MORE YOU WILL SEE.
Our expert guides  will help you identify hoof, pug and pad marks; teach you to identify peculiar  forest smells and learn basic jungle surviving skills. The point of such walks  is when we come across a tiger’s or a leopard’s pug mark and should we come  across one of such on this walk, plaster casts could be made. Back to camp by  sundown for campfire and dinner. As you gorge on the excellent cuisine the  guides and other experts would keep you entertained with their wonderful  experiences in the jungle. Relax by the fire long into the night, listening to  exclusive jungle sounds to finally rest it out in either mud huts or safari  tents, which are both executively luxurious as well as personal.

DAY 02
:

We leave early  morning in an open 4WD jeep with the in-house driver and naturalist for a full  day game drive to the Bijrani range to observe the wildlife of the area. Entry  here is through Amdanda Gate, 20 Km from Camp. 7 Km further arrives the Bijrani  forest rest house and the elephant mount spot. From here many criss-cross jungle  trails lead into the forest increasing your adrenaline level as you dwell  further into the area where you feel like the humans are basically outcasts as  the wilderness of the are creeps on you!
It is a very  different and rare experience to dine in such an area and yet we make special  provisions to provide you both with lunch and breakfast and lunch inside the  reserve. After a full, action-packed day in the forest, we head back to camp by  sundown, just in time for that hot cup of tea or coffee. After a quick wash,  join your hosts by the campfire for drinks and snacks and resume the  discussions leftover from the previous night. For those of you weary from the  long day, dinner would be ready under the thatch after which you can retire for  the night.

DAY 03
:

This is where we diverse from the  earlier, shorter stay at the reserve, with the addition of the Bijrani range,  we also take you around Dhikala range where we also camp for the night.

We  depart, yet again early and in a 4WD jeep with the in-house driver and naturalist for the Dhikala Forest Rest  House complex. We would enter through Dhangari gate- 6 Km from Camp and our  route would take us past Gharial pool, Champion pool on Champion road and High  Bank – each one of which are great observation points for animals quenching  their thirst on the Ramganga river. We stop at the complex for lunch after  which we take a game drive to the Dhikala “chaur”– grasslands, to observe the  varied bird and mammal species found in the area. We return to Dhikala by  sundown for tea, followed by a much needed wash and then dinner. Overnight in a  room at the Dhikala FRH complex.
DAY 04
:

A brand new and  exciting day to view the forests, wildlife & birds at Dhikala. Viewing  would be split on elephant back (subject to availability) and game drives  broken only when we get back to Dhikala for breakfast and lunch respectively.  Back to Dhikala by sundown, followed by tea and an early dinner. Overnight in a  room at the Dhikala FRH complex.

DAY 05
:

This is the day to reminisce and we take you back to  whichever area you decide was your favourite. We get back to Dhikala for  breakfast and lunch, post which we drive back to Camp Forktail Creek, 35 Km  away. We would drive past and visit High bank, Champion Pool, Gharial Pool and  the interpretation center at Dhangari gate once again so that you can a final  look at all these areas once more and etch them in your memories for years to  come.  Arrive at Camp by evening where  you can take a leisurely wash and join your hosts by the campfire for drinks,  snacks and dinner and exchange your wonderful experiences with theirs.

DAY 06
